In the UK, the government introduced Anti-Social Behaviour Orders, commonly known as ASBOs. They can slap them on anyone, for pretty much anything that is deemed "anti-social", and it works like a restraining order.
So some kids get ABSOs that prevent them from hanging around a certain block of flats, one woman got an ASBO for opening her door in her undies, some people are forbidden to hang out with specified people etc...
It sounds silly, until you learn that breaking an ASBO is a criminal offense. So if that woman opens the door in her undies again, its a criminal offense, and she could theoretically go to jail. For breaking the Asbo, of course, not for opening her door in her undies
Just giving you a heads-up, since I don't doubt this innovative and legally creative invention will make its appearance on your side of the pond one day.
