Aye. Look at Garry Condit, big news then 9/11 happened. The days after 9/11 new casters repeatedly said "just days ago we were wrapped up about this, now we know what is really important, will news like Condit ever seem blah blah blah". 5 years later pictures of Paris Hilton crying in the back of a police car are front line while american soldiers dying in Iraq is barely a headline.
Not that I am surprised by the mobs ADD, just sometimes it is a little frustrating.
