Anyone else watching John from Cincinatti on HBO? I started late, watching the first episodes a week ago on HBO on demand and was hooked by the the third episode. This review on IMBD.com hits close to how I felt about the show, especially now that I have caught up to the seventh episode.

Does it star Dr. Johnny Fever? 'Cause that rock.

Not yet, but Howard Hesseman would be a real good choice to play God when the end does come.

I watch it, but it's quickly careening downhill towards retardation. I think Meadowlands on Showtime is a much better show, although I grant that it's largely East Enders on LSD.

I watched a couple episodes and wasn't into it. I may give it another go though once Weeds is done. And Big Love.

I have been curious about Meadowlands but if Smashy likes it, I'm in.

Is that like an X-rated version of the Teletubbies?

The only redeeming factor that I see in it would be the presence of Al Bundy.

I enjoy the show. I was hoping for a Luke Perry vs Zack Morris fight a couple weeks back, but alas, it didn't happen.

It does now. Howard Hesseman joined the cast at episode 9, which aired sunday, as The Chemist an aging 60's acid guru.
