What did you do this weekend?
I took the wife to the Canadian Biker Build-off. It was very cool. We won first place in a biker rodeo event (tire toss) and I decided to get a few accessories for the bike, and a snazzy new helmet.

our best friend who moved to Cali came back for the week, and there were two parties in her honor, one of which we hosted last night. I'm still trying to recuperate.
Flea's mother & sister-in-law came into town and we had the bridal shower.
I need a solid night's sleep. Been on the couch all weekend since Joph Jr & I let the ladies have the beds.

My wife ran the SF marathon, it was her first one. Super proud of her, she was almost on course to qualify for the boston, but her knee started hurting. Still finished in 5:30, which is the pace group she was originally going to join. We spent a very nice weekend in SF, nice and cool there.
Got my wisdom teeth ripped out, got a new pair of glasses.
This ended up being pretty accurate.
Except that on Saturday a guy down the road for me had a cook out for his 4x4 club. Pretty cool, the guy has a rock garden that they showed off on, and then for the redneck coup de grace they had an old junked out station wagon that they ran over. Also, there was free keg beer and burgers and brats, so can't really knock that.

Family birthday party Saturday afternoon. Then went to some clubs in Pacific Beach Saturday night. Boring weekend for the most part.
Eye test (overdue by 7 years) and new specs, then a tour of Tolkien country with the camera.

Went camping and fishing all weekend in the mountains of California. Besides drinking copious amounts of cold brew, I caught 6 German Trout(or Brown Trout) and 7 Rainbow Trout. Just what the doctor ordered. Unfortunately I underestimated the powers of the sun at 7000ft elevation and I retured with a rather nasty sunburn. All is well that ends well though.

A big on this last weekend.Friday - Giants Game and watched Barry hit out #754. Omar Vizquel made an OUTFUCKINGSTANDING play at short. Giants win 12-10.
Saturday - Friends wedding.
Sunday - relaxing at home.

Friday -Traded in my west coast orange & black for my east coast orange & black and went to an Orioles vs Yankees game with a girl i'm seeing and some of her relatives. It was my first time to Camden Yards - awesome park!
Saturday - Met rest of her family at her folks' home for a cookout.
Sunday - Recovered from Friday & Saturday, loaded up EQ2 and steamcleaned the house while waiting for patches to finish. Also engaged in the fine art of napping...
