They'll eventually develop nuclear weapons and we'll throw money at them like any other country that does? See also: Pakistan, North Korea, China, India, etc.

nuclear proliferation is ineviatable. it is just a matter of time.
everyone knew that after we droped one on japan. our efforts have been in slowing down that proliferation as much as possible, but there is no stopping it. who is good and who is bad is usually written in history books by the victors, not necessarily by the good. we have been moving to a new age when even the smallest, poorest third world dirt hole will have the ability to cause great harm to other coutries.
good or bad?
time will tell. it will force larger countries to actually listen to what they have to say, which will be a change in the status quo. the whole issue of terrorism was brought about because the smaller and the weaker have been trying to have a voice which has been so far denied them by larger powers. as it has been since the first tribe of people was formed.
nuclear proliferation could be a vehicle to make larger powers listen to lesser powers. it could also be a massive war in the effort to reach that end depending on the resolution of those lesser powers.
idealy, it could be a good thing. historically, it will be a tragedy eventually for someone. probably israel.
my money is on israel nuking them first....just to be sure.
