Is anyone else looking forward to the Special Edition DVD for Hard Boiled? It comes out next week. It'll be nice to see the movie digitally remastered.

What the hell is a "Hard Boiled"? I assume we're not discussing egg preparation here.

Not a huge fan of egg salad. I'm more of a macaroni salad person. And ham salad can burn in hell. That stuff is just nasty.

I used to like mac salad too until I heard a scoop from some places has the same amount of calories as the rest of your plate lunch.

The worst is when you buy some from the store and the **** is watery. I used to give it to my dogs when it was like that. On to something new. French onion soup? Yea or Nay? I love it but it makes me sicker than hell everytime I eat it.

I've actually never eaten it and have only seen it once at TGI Fridays. Looked nasty too.

It's actually really good. But I have a jacked up stomach due to an ulcer. So it's kind of out for me.

I made a weird bread type pizza thing last night. Everyone I have made it for says it's awesome. But the problem is it really only makes 4 servings unless you buy multiple ingredients. I just kind of threw it all together one night because I was bored.

Here's what you need.

1 loaf of Italian bread or Ciabatto bread(uncut)
1 bushel of Spinach
1 small bushel of Parsley
1 small can of cut mushrooms and stems
1 package of thick cut bacon
3 chicken breasts(or if you're lazy pick up 2 pre-cooked packs of chicken)
2 packages of Mozzarella cheese(grated)
1 package of Provolone cheese(grated)

Cut the bread lengthwise making it as even as possible. Then halve it again so you have 4 separate pieces of bread. Pre-heat the oven to about 400 degrees or so. Microwave the entire package of bacon or fry it in a skillet until it is crispy enough to crumble up.

Cut the mushrooms, spinach, and a small amount of parsley into small pieces and spread a thin layer on all the pieces of bread. Cut up the chicken into small squares, circles, or rectangles(w/e do what you want.) Put several chunks onto all the pieces of bread.

Cover the first layer with mozzarrella cheese and half of the provolone. When the bacon is done take half of it and crumble it up and dust it over the layer of cheese. Put down a small amount of spinach on top of the cheese and bacon. Put the remaining chicken on as well. Cover with the remaining cheese and sprinkle the remaining bacon on top.

It only takes about 30 minutes to prepare and about 15 minutes to cook. Very easy and very good. It's really filling as well just due to how much crap you're putting on it.

That does sound really good. Maybe I'll try that next Saturday. Is the chicken you put on already cooked?

This is what I made last night: http://pikkopots.blogspot.com/2007/07/grilled-asian-chicken-stir-fry.html

Turned out really good!

Well it's really up to you. If you buy chicken breasts you'll need to cook them yourself. If you're feeling lazy you can just buy two Butterball oven roasted chicken chunks. They're usually like $2.50 per package here. Cooking the bacon is what takes the longest. And Websense has foiled me again. I couldn't see what you made Smiley: lol

Ah hush. You love us and you know it. Where else could a thread about a John Woo movie turn into a food thread?
