I think that's why she did it. She doesn't want to continue the story, and I don't think she's too keen on anyone else picking it up, either.
I didn't like the epilogue. It was sappy and, in my opinion, better left to the imagination. The 'adventure' ended happily...shoulda left it with that.

I loved the book though.

Yeah, just when we all got worked up at 'Judges' and 'Deuteronomy' we get what. . . 'Ruth' FFS!

The series picked up a bit at 'Ezekiel' and 'Daniel', but on the whole, you're right.

Just finished Deathly Hallows. Good story.
