With this kind of headline, I couldn't resist posting.

That picture with the steam billowing up out of frame between buildings is a bit too reminiscent of 9/11 for my tastes. I'm so sensitive.

That seems like a very impressive explosion. I'm glad I got out of the city before it happened, though it would have been neat to see. We were stuck in the oppressively hot, foul-smelling kitchen of some restaurant on the east side for around four hours, fixing their POS systems.

Like I said in the OoT, NYC s'ploded!

My dad was working around that area as an EMT/EMS at the time, he called home to tell us to put on one of the news stations so we could see the damage. For those who were injured he kept using the analogy of putting a lobster in a steamer for a minute, as the skin would peel right off.

News at 11 in San Diego had this at the top of their reporting last night. Smiley: disappointed It was beyond a non-story.
