Well, I finally finished my first attempt at an aluminum foil covered "superdetailed" airplane model (modified from the otigional kit using photoetched and resin parts) And its all done, so now I get to post picturesof it sitting on top of my book shelf at work

They are rather large pictures. Sorry about that.

lets see, I have some R/C aircraft, a bunch of other airplane models in various states of completion, Some ship models, an M1A2 Abrahams that is awaiting paint, some battletech figurines, a few dragons, and A Macross valkyrie (kind of gundam-y but more transformable airplane robot)

A few train models too. My dad has the really massive modile collection.

that takes a lot of patience, I couldn't even stand trying to do a gundam model that was unpainted.

The geek in me wants these at Allanois. The R/C plane so I can fly it.

Nice, I never really had the patience to do a model...that and the fact I would get the glue everywhere and make a mess. Smiley: banghead

Kao, in honor of this thread, I shall take multiple photographs of the F414-GE-400 for you.

I think we have an High-Pressure Compressor top-halfed, so you'll get to see the blades and whatnot.

I work in a warehouse that stores the parts for this engine.
