Two weeks ago we made changes to one of the OR's moving the anesthesia machine around,I told him about the change and he said to try it. Today the ******* calls me at home to tell me that they almost lost a patient because I changed a room around.
Ultimately it is the person giving anesthesia to make sure that the equipment was working and accessible, not mine. It is my F'cking day off! So I laid him out, and then hung up!

I have to assume this was a long time building, cause that back-breaking straw sure looked like a straw from here.

Last straw was taking this **** after working 42 hours of OT to cover the staffing shortage made by his vacation. Definately not interested in returning.

Will try to Check in more often, Tare!

Have an interview with the competing hospital tomorrow morning. Still have my government contract, so things will be fine.

The First Rule of Medical Negligence is to blame the absent.

Especially for those uber-geeks who think anaesthesiology is anything more than 5th grade chemistry. Calling them 'pretend-doctors' is more fun than telling 'em to GFY.

LOL I give anesthesia, but I work on the concept that you never ask someone to do something you aren't willing to do yourself!
