That would be different.

In America? What a fucking travesty and corruption of our beautiful pristine system.

True. But, in Clinton's case, if you don't like her, you probably hate her and nothing will change that. Obama has a better chance at winning over the middle.

The downside is that the ones who *do* like her are the ones who'll be voting in the primaries.

True. Darkies and kids don't even vote in general elections.

As a rule, that's by-and-largely true.

Didn't I say pretty much the exact same thing about a week ago?

Don't get me wrong, I actually kinda like Edwards. I disagree with him on about 99% of the issues, but he actually stands up for what he thinks is the right thing. I can respect that. Unfortunately, that rarely actually gets someone ahead in national level politics.

I'll repeat my earlier statement (from the same thread about a week ago). Unless something staggering happens (which is unlikely) Hillary Clinton will be the Democrat nominee for the 2008 election. Because as much as liberals like to think their party parallels their own ideals, the fact is that the Dem party is arguably more scripted and controlled by the power elite then the Republican party, and she's been singled out as the "next thing".

I'd look for a Clinton/Edwards ticket in 2008. But that's just my guess.
