Or rather, say halloo to my namesake, Snorre. He's a one-year old Basset Hound that I adopted from a Dachshund Rescue in Virginia. The Basset Hound rescue organizations had much older dogs, so I didn't want to inflict almost 9-month old Dashiell on an older dog.
It's true that there is no such thing as a free dog, but since I was the second one to adopt him (previous people didn't work out since their cat didn't like pup), they gave him to me for free. I just need to get him to the vets and his last round of shots next month.
Anyhoo, just thought I'd share. The pups are getting along terrifically and now I've got to go finish unpacking. Then there's that doggie door I need to install...almost can't wait to start the new job next Monday!
