it is going exactly as well as anyone with any knoledge of warfare in the middle east predicted it would go before we started. including Bush Sr.

if this isnt a good reason for a vote of no confidence and impeachment, then there never will be a good reason.

if the aim of the war was WMDs, it was a no starter.
if the aim was to eliminate terrorism, its still a no starter.
if the aim was oil, its lost, we WILL pull out eventually.
if the aim was to give Iraq a stable, friendly country, its a no starter.

a failure. on all fronts. someone SHOULD be held accountable.

but they wont. welcome to democracy.

Yes.

I'd think anyone who's read this forum for any number of years now would recognize that the "news report from anonymous source about contents of classified report that bodes badly for Bush's strategy" isn't exactly an uncommon thread starter.

I'd think anyone who's read this forum for any number of years would recognize that you're virtually always wrong. It's really quite amazing from a pure statistical point of view how one man could so consistently get so many things wrong. Frankly it's bordering on proof of psychic powers.
