Hola - back and online now. Getting settled into new home - movers arrive today and while I was supposed to start my new job today, my very cool boss offered to let me start next week instead. I gratefully accepted.

I've been having a blast going out and back on the dating scene. I've already had my Maryland crabbies (no, not a STD, yew bastards!) and enjoying meeting the ladies. Good times.

No way to make the Allanois thing this year, sadly. Spent waaaaay too much money on the move and buying things that I figured I should get before any new girlfriend in my life tells me not to - so I got this Sony Bravia 46" widescreen HD tv (black panel) and a Toshiba HD DVD player. I'm going to have to find a way to link up my desktop to this bad boy for some Vanguard and LOTRO fun.

HDMI cables? Should be pretty easy unless you have a 1000 year old video card. Nice TV. Please tell me you have a decent sized room to put it in. For some reason, everyone I know with one that size has it in a 10 by 10 room and everyone I know with giant TV rooms have 19 inch crts 20 feet away.

I can catch you up on Vg. There was a patch. It caused everyone to CTD once or twice an hour. Another patch came. I think they fixed the CTD problem. At least I haven't crashed for few days now. Performance on the game side seems to be getting better. I think they're getting a handle on those memory leaks. Servers are gonna be merged...soon. Oh wait! guess they weren't really ready to deal with server merges. They'll happen sometme. Flying mounts are now available for rent to anyone, not just those over level 40 (haven't tried one yet..costs 20sp). The teleporter on the dock in Khal, that I used ALL the time to move between Mekalia and Khal has been taken out. [:sad:]. On a personal note, I'm having more fun than ever with the game. My Sorcerer is level 28 now and thinking about wandering away from Trengal Keep where she's been hanging out for the last couple weeks.

I hear LoTR is dull, boring, lifeless.

We gotta meet up sometime again now that you're back in MD, can see if we can rope Kelvy in again!
