right? Well, if so, we need some new kid pics up here pronto!

Hannah's 4th included her first time flying a kite (she really liked it), her first time finding a sea shell, her first time eating an oreo cookie...don't try to get a kid to stop eating an oreo cookie for a picture.

Also, if you don't already know, 2 is the age at which we begin the traditional "lobster training" on the 4th of July. Two more years and she'll be able to ride one if all goes well. *fingers crossed*

If you want to try and learn how to ride a lobster, you should just say so. This passive-aggressiveness is beneath you. I'm disappointed. Smiley: disappointed

I don't even like that smiley...I just know you don't have them, so I felt obligated to use one because I'm petty.

They're the kind with the "low risk of sexual side effects" aren't they? It's ok, no one thinks any less of you, lil guy.

Beautiful pics, Nexa! I especially love the lobster one. You gonna teach her how to prepare lobster too?

We didn't do much for the 4th as it was kind of stormy, but I have been busy with the camera, so here's a couple of the boys.

Xavier at the playground the other week
Playing in the giant tires
and another playground

Ashe in our backyard
still learning how to sit
first time in a playground swing

This last one was just taken a couple days ago. They've got this routine of sitting together on the couch in the morning and watching Sponge Bob.

Tare and PIkko, too damn cute. These guys could easily form a coalition of cuteness and take over the world.

When an Allawaii finally becomes a reality one day, we can plot the destruction of the world with our combined army of cute led of course, by General Lobster herself.

This kid-pics thread is giving me a cuteness overload.

Is it just me? or does Xavier have a really big head?

its just you. Although Ashe has a very big head. If you look at the pic with the two of them together, Ashes head looks almost as large as Xaviers.

I hope Joph won't get mad at me, but here's one of the Sprout running around Millenium Park (we were trying to salvage some clothes so he's be at least mostly dry at the end).

What can I say, he's at the stage where he likes to strike a pose. Smiley: laugh

All babies have gigantic heads.

That's why they're so easy to throw.

Kailey's getting as cute as her mom, but leave Trey's hair alone!

The guy looked like a beefy rock-star last time I met him - you're at risk of making him look like a reject from N-Sync
