I still tend to think that the term 'man-made global warming' is a bunch of ***** While I DO believe humans are having a detrimental effect on the planet, all this talk of polar bears having nowhere to live cos the ice caps are melting, and small pacific islands being swallowed up by rising sea-levels... its jsut the normal behaviour of the complex system that is the plane tthat we live on. I really dont believe that we are 'causing' it with our gaseous emissions.
I reckon that the giant industry that has built up around the term 'global warming' since the early 70's is exactly that. A giant industry. And a lot of people are making a lot of money out of it.
I've tried to talk about it on this board before but couldn't be bothered in the end. Too much "but the scientists say so, so it must be true". We can all believe what we want, but I believe that if humans really gave a stuff about planet earth, theres plenty of things we could do to improve it, right now, today, rather than sitting about waiting for the the experts to come up with a plan to save us all from something that they've spent the last 25 years flying about in their jets, having 'summits', and yet still cant decide what the 'plan' should be. Feckin' idjits.
As far as smokin some hemp goes....
Totem, you should try it. It'll even make that Billy Ray Cyrus record you have in your collection sound good. (well, maybe not..)
But when it comes to 'hemp', the plant, do a bit of research. If there is anything thats going to save the planet, while giving us the fuel, food, fibres, plastics, clothes and goodness knows what else we need, Hemp is the stuff.
In conclusion. Spliffs are good. Hemp is the best. And Al Gore is just another cnut flying around the world in a jet plane telling the rest of us all to leave a smaller carbon footprint. At least his son seems kewl. (apart from the Prius. They r th3 Ghey!)
