My summer class is hard. Anyone else taking one? I'll be done for the summer in mid-July, but then I have to start gathering articles and whatnot for my lit review.

meh, I'm tired of school.

What exactly are you having trouble with? I've taught Social Statistics in the past and might be able to clear something up?

The part where I don't care about math and hate the use of greek lettering for no ******* reason whatsoever.

Thanks for the offer though!

lol ... just remember, the greek letters are for parameters (think populations) and the roman letters are for sample variables (aka estimates of parameters). I agree though, some of those statisticians can come off as a bit sadistic at times *coughCohencoughFischercough*.

100% of conversations regarding statistics result in this joke at some point.

I'm taking a 7:30 AM Spanish class...it's rather boring. The teacher is way too perky for that time in the morning, and she apparently doesn't mind if people cheat on their tests/quizzes/whatever.

Only two more weeks...

I have a final tonight and then I start 2 more classes next week. Professional Certifications are overrated IMHO.

I'm taking two courses during the first summer semester at the moment. Though they are blow off courses, not near as hard as what you are dealing with.

Get an A.

Anytime I hear someone say that I always think about Robin Hood: Men in Tights. When the fat East German chick lands on top of Little John. Nowhere near as good as Spaceballs. Still had some chuckles with that one though.

While you're all sweating blood over your exams, I expect no sympathy for the fact that I am being paid ridiculous amounts of money to mark post-grad exam papers and even more ludicrous amounts of cash to undertake oral (f'nk f'nk) exams.

As I'm not currently getting laid very often, they are all likely to fail.

Life is, indeed, an *****, but at least my bank account is a beneficiary.

I wouldn't worry about them being overrated. I'm pretty sure that DeVry guarantees job placement after you finish your Dental Assistant courses.

That's the plan...if I don't jump off a building first.

That's not so bad then. I'm irritated that mine get's done the day AFTER 4th of July. SO, I have class that Monday, then on Thursday, and our holiday is Wednesday. Great. Normally with a Wednesday holiday, I'd take either the first two days of the week or the last two days off and go somewhere, but nooooo, ******* statistics.

Also: statistics killed my dog.
