Mrs Tarv has given birth to a baby boy after a short but painful LaboUr.

Cute as can be, 8lb's (3.6kg) which is rather larger than his older brother who was weighed in at 3kg dead.

Still not final decision on names but i'm sure we will find the right one.

Following family tradition he is quiet as a mouse and has a cute meow rather than a cry when hungry, hopefully he will be like David an not cry until he's over 6 months!

I have daddy duties for the next couple of days while she recovers and as usual he's good as gold while mommy isn't around.

Any good idea's for a boy name appriciated but please no silly extravagent monstosites, remember HE has to live with that name NOT YOU!

Someone on another site i use came up with "Panzer" last week and he was serious Smiley: oyvey

Born on the 25th Anniversary of UK defeating Argentina and liberating the Falkland Islands.

SO he has to be 'Stanley', amiright?

Congrats Tarv family on your new addition. =)
One thing to note, Tarv, I supsect when you wrote his older brother weighed in at 3kg dead, that this is an english expression meaning exactly that wieght, and not, god forbid, that the older brother was stillborn.

Congratulations!

Not knowing your last name makes picking a first one fun!

I tend to prefer old fashioned names, mainly because they're not trendy-common over here.

George, for example. Edwin. Rud Hud. Archmail. Cadvan.

Congratulations! Someone at my reunion had a kid named Amethyst. Whatever you pick will be acceptable in some circle, don't worry!

Oh, then I vote for George. Not sure why, but I've always liked that name.

Er, there aren't any famous villains named George Harvey, are there? Always good to check for those.

tarv, I thought the same as fhrugby and was like, omg... their first was stillborn? Smiley: cry

Congratulations on a healthy baby!!!

When I was thinking of names for my son I liked Travis and Trevor but due to my last name starting with "wat" I decided to save my poor son the humiliation of having the word "****" in his name when the first name is abbreviated.

Grats tarv...did he make his arrival on Father's Day or was it today?

With the last name Harvey I guess you can't name him Birdman.
