Some geeky rentypes that I know were involved in a film project a couple years ago, and apparently HBO has decided to air it. I suspect they don't know what to do now that the Sopranos is over, but maybe there's something of interest here too. Dunno.
Anyway, it's called Drakmar: A Vassal's Journey. A more detailed infobit is here (but without showtimes).
I've known the knight for over 20 years. Don't know the title character at all. Figure some of you might be interested.

Git, that tin foil serves two purposes-- it gives, as Neph says, an aura of authenticity to the faux armor they wear, but more importantly, since Renfaire types tend to gravitate towards conspiracy theories like the No blood for oil crowd and the one world government/total world domination claims-- you know, the liberal types that inhabit this board, it protects them from having the CIA read their thoughts and stuff.

I've gone to Ren faires, but mostly for the honey mead, yards of Sam Adams and tight, over-spilling corsets.
