Instead of forwarding the offending material to Alla so that he could deal with the incident correctly, they PM random other posters and then finally made a "Admin must die" thread in OoT...

In their defence tarv, most victims of abuse fail to report it; often because the full information may include parts that, if taken 'out of context' may be embarassing or be misused by the abuser as excuses.

I'm sure Doug will milk this for weeks to come, but I think he did the right thing.

Agreed - but don't forget there's every chance that his victims may have been very young and uncomfortable with raising their head above the parapet.
