...to join the fun: I love Vanguard but I'm sick of playing with myself (he-he) and I'm not talking about the lack of Asylum players, I mean the lack of players period. Is there an Asylum guild on LoTR?

It's more of an Alla guild than an Asylum one since few members are actually Asylumites.

Meh, as long they don't put on airs or act as if they are in the same realm as I, then I guess I can stand their pressence.
Now I just have to wait for the updates and suck to finish.

Vanguard's the best game I've ever played, easily encompassing what I want in a MMO more than any other title out there, but it is horribly lonely. I'm lucky to see another player most days. Regional chat is non-existant the majority of the time.
Saturday I popped onto one of the PvP servers and performed a little census; there were less than two hundred people on. Total. This was at about 7pm EST. That' ain't right.
They're merging servers soon, but I don't think anything short of merging down to only a handfull of servers would really populate the immense world the way it should be.
I'm on the verge of abandoning my desire to find a game that I can play for years on end like I did with EQ and just settling for a couple months here and there, like a nomad.

I'm almost glad it's gone belly up tbh that way it may just force games designers to listen!

Tenkei was pre-Smash/Taco/Patrician/Whatever. Saryrn guild with Cogmatix, Dark_Illyana, Stok, etc. Old uBB folks who've since faded away.

I've played around for about a half hour now and I have noticed a few of the things that turned me off in Beta are fixed or gone. That's always a good sign. Now I just have to decide what I want my main to be and find a officer.
