You're making huge assumptions there.

I managed to aquire my keys and drivers license back. apperently the license was sitting in teh drivers seat all night in an unlocked (but wreckeded) car. I dind't get a chance to see the actual damage to my side before because they hauled me off to the hospital first before. Got to see it today for the first time.

Holy ****.

2 feet forward and I would have been paste. The car is basically halfway cut in half. The drive line hump in the rear seat is buckled, and the rear seat itself is almost touching the roof now in the middle.

Still haven't seen the accident report. they are faxing it over to the insurance people, no fax line here. I'm sore all over. I feel like ive been hit by a large minivan. Don't think i'm undead, but that would explain why they couldn't find any veins yesterday. but the vicoden is kicking in so im going to go rest more.

The downside of having the DVD entertainment system installed in your car is that you have to crane your neck really far to see the screen, so what with the wombat **** and all being newly released to disc, I'm almost certain that the someone in question must have been Kao. Nice work with the whole attentive driving thing there, dragon boy.

Wow, that sucks Kao, glad you're okay from the accident.

Though...I hope everything turns out alright for you though with your liver. Smiley: frown

Cripes Kao, I'm so sorry, but glad to hear you're ok. When you wake up we can find some way to blame this on scientology and lack of wombat smileys.
I really think that Global Warming Environmentalists are to blame for this one. If they worked harder, cars wouldn't be on the road.

Considering I've always seen you as the John Cleese in the tiny assed buggy-looking car type, congratulations on not getting eaten in a radiator! Take a hot bath with your toy boats and enjoy yourself a nice frosty beverage, like a margarita or a moheeetoe. It'll work wonders. Get well Kao, plz.

You should stick with what you're good at. I find your lurking far more entertaining than your posting. Besides, we already have a resident druggie and he sucks marginally less than you.

Very very sore mostly. Still in kind of a mope about the whole thing. I went to the doctors after work today because i've been having a bit of very light numbness in my lips and just under my nose that showed up yesterday. They think its just related to the faceplant in the airbag though and should clear up soonish. My mouse hand is still doing the jabby pain thing too. Apperently I was gripping the stearing wheel rather hard when I hit. Them jabbing 5 needles in it looking for veins afterwards didn't help either.

I'm sill moving slow, but things are getting better. No whiplash so far which is good. Started thinking about whats next, and looking at car options, etc. I think things will get back to normal here in a while anyways, or as normal as they ever are.

How do you normally hold the steering wheel? I've heard several reports from paramedics that airbag deployment can sometimes cause you to punch yourself in the face and break your own nose.

Make sure you follow up with your Primary Care doctor. You can have things show up years after, and it's best to keep on top of it. That said, glad you're ok.

And if anyone pushes some piece of paper in front of you saying that you've recieved all the medical care you'll need and relieve them of any future damages. Well... you know what to do, right?
