Asylum is ruining my lifeFollow

#1 Jun 08 2007 at 2:04 AM Rating: Decent
Have you ever been watching TV, or reading a book, or thinking something, and then had a voice in your back of your head telling you what gbaji would answer if you had posted that thought on the Asylum?

I get that, and it sucks.

Sometimes, when I play WOW on my gnome mage, I position myself just behind the sheep/bear tank/succubus, and do a /dance. Then I smile, close my eyes, and think of BT.

I need help?

No, it just means you've been compl, etely pulled into the Asylum. That happened to me once upon a time, but I chose to start a revolution of stupidity in the oot instead of staying.

I've always read Driftwood as the straight man in varus' double act. It helps if you read all of his posts in the voice of Droopy Dog.

Just the way he would have liked it.

That is still the happiest cat I've ever seen.

.....and the Asylum isn't ruining my life, so much as taking it over.

You have my sincerest condolences, you crazy drunk frog. Seriously, if'n I had schizophrenia I sure as **** wouldn't want to have gbaji's voice in my head. Rest assured though that it isn't abnormal for your addictions to start creeping into other areas of your life. Like MMORPG geeks estimating the dot values of halberds and swords at some dinky museum in Boston... yeah.

It could be considerably worse. You could have Jophiel's voice, aka Ben Stein's voice in your head. Imagine hearing a droning, sonorous that says, "Dry eyes? Try Visine. Or better yet, read my posts and be bored to tears..."

Mehh. Say what you like; to me he'll always be a hybrid of Bill'n'Ted's Bodacious speak.

OK. . .

Maybe a bit more nasal
