If there were to exist some form of "asylumite only" sig, premium only, smaller than the ffxi and wow ones, and requireing that someone have at least "x" posts in Asylum before they could display it, would that be something that people would want / use? I'm thinking no stats, just your name and "Asylumite", maybe a background change based on post count, somehting like that.

I have Alla WoW/FFXI sig images AdBlocked anyway so I doubt I'd use it.

If you have to have a sig to be recognized as an asylumite then you are a **** poor asylumite. There would also be the worry of having people spam posts in the asylum in order to get the sig. If you want to reward long time posters (asylumers and non asylumers alike) with the ability to have custom sigs or sigs designed for them that would be cool though.
I still believe that premium users should be able to have signatures in much the same way forum avatars work. It would be simple to forum moderate much like avatars are and it would be a selling point for premium access.

I say go for it. Say, 8000 posts with most being in the Asylum. Nothing says elitism like a gold star or flashy badge.

I'm not saying we'd need a sig to proclaim that we post in the Asylum. I meant that if we could have something that not many others could have, then why the hell not?

Have the Top 5 Asylum Posters make a list of those allowed to show the sig?
How bout instead of a sig, you do something more subtle, like change the color of the stars?
So when people ask, you could reply, "ohh that... I dont know."

I'd say put an "A" within the stars but thats reserved for Admins already. Maybe have a custom Asylum title like Princess or The Charming?
