Hilton out of jail after 3 daysFollow

I suppose I saw this coming, but it still irks me.

The girl was in PC the entire time too, which while boring ensures she doesn't have to worry about physical harm like a normal human would.

Medical = psychiatric. Poor thing just couldn't hang in that noisy, cold jail.

Must be nice to be so removed from the common world.

Yeah, but what can you expect really. I mean, they wouldn't even let her bring her books with her! And they didn't have the Nintendo Wii setup in her cell like she asked either. Jail is so passe.

What a fraeking joke...

Something tells me that had it been a black guy, he would not have been released after 3 days.

When people complain that there's one justice for the rich, and one for the poor, they'll have another string to their well-stringed bow.

Oh, I know this has done wonders to change my opinion of Ms. Hilton...

Suicide is surely be the most effective option.

Second one has to be another videotape, since that's obviously what she does best... Or what she does full stop, I guess.

Don't worry, she'll drive hammered again in two weeks.

It took her only one night to reflect back on her life? She either got distracted or "reflecting" back on a life of ****, blow and booze can only take up so much time.

There's an obvious "nailed" joke in the making here but I'm feeling kind of lazy.

We have seen the rich walk time and time again. Freedom=money.

BTW, O.J. was black, killed 2 people and last I checked he was a free man too.

One article wrote that 3 days is the typical time of a sentence that other people have served. That being so, I'm guessing a black guy would served the full time, meaning she actually stayed for a long time for a white person.

Hello and welcome to "Overcoming your third grade grasp of the English Language". Let's begin.

We have seen the rich walk time and time again. Freedom=money.

This would imply that once someone was freed from incarceration that suddenly money fell from the sky onto them. You see, while in math it's irrelevant which side of an equals sign things appear on, when making a rhetorical argument there is an implied cause and effect, so in the future, go for Money=Freedom.

BTW, O.J. was black, killed 2 people and last I checked he was a free man too.

Thus he has money? OJ prevailed in the legal system. He wasn't sentenced to jail and then released arbitrarily because of the influence of his wealth. For your argument to make any sense, OJ would have had to have been found guilty, sent to prison, then released a week later because of a hangnail.

Lets see if we can think of any black men who had money who served jail time regardless. Mike Tyson, check. James Brown, check. Is there anyone with money who served jail time? Ivan Boseky, check. Martha Stewart, check.

So really, I guess the overall point you're arching for is that, occasionally, wealthy people don't go to jail when they're not found guilty and this one particular time a wealthy person was released from being jail because of a preposterous probation violation which never would have been imposed had it not been something that would make headlines.

A compelling damnation of the legal system, indeed.

I now return you to your regular Thursday afternoon Teletubbies watching ************ ritual.

I dunno... I have a feeling that if I was caught driving on a suspended license, warned, signed a statement that I was warned for it then caught again driving on the same suspended license, I wouldn't be released with a hug.
The media wrote:
Officers arrested Hilton in Hollywood on Sept. 7. In January, she pleaded no contest to the reckless-driving charge and was sentenced to 36 months' probation, alcohol education and $1,500 in fines.

She was pulled over by California Highway Patrol on Jan. 15. Officers informed Hilton she was driving on a suspended license and she signed a document acknowledging she was not to drive. She then was pulled over by sheriff's deputies on Feb. 27, at which time she was charged with violating probation.
I don't have the enthusiasm to look up the incarceration rate for multiple offenses of driving on a suspended license but it seems Mlle. Hilton was given many a chance before she hit the lock-up.

You're not very familiar with the probation and parole system, are you?

I've heard rumors there are pluses to that, but apparently you have to forgo blowjobs from insecure casino cocktail waitresses, so on balance....

Not exactly surprising.

I'd have settled for not hearing that she went to jail for the whole day. It's a shame they didn't lose the key. I think she's nothing special and is just famous for being famous. In short, a daddy's little spoiled brat.

If there is any justice in the world, she'll run head-first into Lindsay Lohan and her coke-mobile and the two burn to death together in a headline-worthy frenzy.

Best as I get it, most people get Alternative Incarceration. I know a guy that spent some time in the clink, but that was on his second under suspension and like fourth DUI. 30 days in corrigan, he said it was tit.

Insightful.

Where the hell did they find you, anyway, in the control group of a drug study that was attempting to cure people of obliviously stating the obvious over and over?
