7/10 (much higher then the likes of Saw/Hostel would EVER EVER get.)

The first Saw movie was awesome. Simply awesome. The derivative sequels were nothing to fuss over, and frankly, I only saw the second one.

Hostel was, by far, the worst movie I've even seen (next to Spice World). Honeslty, the new "scary" is synonomous with "gory."

I keep waiting to hear that the kiddie's Lord of the Flies show is a hoax or joke. D:

That was recently debunked, although the account I read made it sound like the producers were saying, "No, no! Of course not! Don't be absurd. We were kidding!" while hiding a styrofoam dry-ice box behind their backs.

It's Endemol, that wouldn't have surprised me one bit.

But still, after that show, about 30.000 Dutch have registered themselves as organ donors. (number most likely still to increase) So even if it was in poor taste, it did have a very good effect on people, just shame them into doing the right thing.

Heh, reason enough to at least think before registering I suppose Smiley: smile

That would make a good tv show, "harvesting" the registered donors, alive or not.

Thanks...now I have

Just remember that you're standing on a planet that's evolving
And revolving at nine hundred miles an hour,
That's orbiting at nineteen miles a second, so it's reckoned,
A sun that is the source of all our power.
The sun and you and me and all the stars that we can see
Are moving at a million miles a day
In an outer spiral arm, at forty thousand miles an hour,
Of the galaxy we call the 'Milky Way'.
Our galaxy itself contains a hundred billion stars.
It's a hundred thousand light years side to side.
It bulges in the middle, sixteen thousand light years thick,
But out by us, it's just three thousand light years wide.
We're thirty thousand light years from galactic central point.
We go 'round every two hundred million years,
And our galaxy is only one of millions of billions
In this amazing and expanding universe....
The universe itself keeps on expanding and expanding
In all of the directions it can whizz
As fast as it can go, at the speed of light, you know,
Twelve million miles a minute, and that's the fastest speed there is.
So remember, when you're feeling very small and insecure,
How amazingly unlikely is your birth,
And pray that there's intelligent life somewhere up in space,
'Cause there's bugger all down here on Earth.

/agree

Then it's like they tried to play it off with some half-assed and out of place "psychological twist" at the end like it wasn't just a gore-fest but meant something.

Also agree with the first Saw. That was pretty gory too but there was a whole heck of a lot of fun mind fuck in there too. I don't mind the gore but there has to be a little something behind it.

Great. Another contemptable show I'm going to have to listen to people yapping about at work.
