Ok, what kind of Beers? Are we talking Duvel? Or Bud Light?

I'm a cheap date myself now. Usually 2 Heinekens will get me tipsy. Or one good sized glass of cab

Now the next question has to be is the milk still flowing for baby to have a sip? (That should make BarkingTurtle's night)

Well, unless she was sharing alcohol with her little one (as any drugs the mother intakes the milk takes some chemicals from), I'd assume she abstained from drink until the baby was no longer breast fed. Therefore, her tolerance went down.

Actually it's during pregnancy you are not supposed to drink so it's 9+ months of abstinence. You can drink when nursing, so long as it's a minimum. If you think you are going to drink to get drunk, you need to pump. High contents of alcohol consumed will get back to the milk. It peaks around 90 minutes after consumption and then declines. However, a beer a day is fine and the alcohol will not make it to the milk to the point where it even minutely affects your baby. In fact, it's a known fact for those who do nurse, that a beer a day will actually enhance milk flow. This is good for the mothers whose body doesn't create a ton of milk.

Boyfriend has been building up my alcohol tolerance by switching empty glasses of wine with full glasses of wine while I'm pretending not to notice. I can drink a good 2/3 of a bottle on my own now I think!

I figure I could get buzzed off a 12 Pack of Light Beer and Tipsy off a case. I'd need a 30 Pack of Lite and a lot of hours, to be wasted.

bob, I haven't been wasted on beer in damn near a decade. I'm usually well in to the third bottle of wine before I start thinking to myself that driving would be a mistake.

To get good and falling down drunk these days it'd probably take most of a litre of wahdkuh.
