Ugh... I've heard more children die this way than most people realize. After reading an article that it's the same with car reversing incidents (there have been like 3 toddler deaths due to this in Hawaii in the last year) we always make sure all kids are in someone's hands when we're leaving. I'll for sure keep in mind the garage door as well. Smiley: frown

I hope it was very quick. It might have been so short, but it sounds like he had a good life.

My deepest sympathies to you, and to his family.

Erk. I did have one dreadful thought. There is a large chance that his parents will split up some time in the next couple of years. Both partners in deep grief, shock and depression, therefore both stressed and with short fuses, through no fault of their own. It can sometimes lead to big rows between the bereaved parents, and the eventual breakdown of their relationship.

I send my best wishes and hopes to them, even though they'll never know, and I'll never have the privelege of meeting and knowing them, like you do.

Here's some of my best wishes and hopes for you, I hope a large object falls from the sky and crushes your skull like a melon.

How's that for a fucking dreadful thought?
