As I was downing a Jagerbomb at Ballydoyle's tonight, I thought of Twis. Not really. Because Twis sucks. Demea sucks more.

I was at Kroll's on the south side tonight for bag league. We got beat bad, but only because my partner couldn't find the board to save his life.

So, in light of our loss, we downed a few buckets of suds.

WTF is that?

A league where you go to a bar and see who can get the most yambags in their mouth?

If so, where do I sign up?

Funny, cause out here in Cincinnati, they call it cornhole.

It was odd going to a company function and hearing all the kids excited about cornholing. I thought, for a second, that I got luck and was around the right type of people.

This has been the longest week ever...and it's not even half over. At least it's a three day weekend.

No kidding. I am so frustrated this week it isn't even funny. People keep getting on my nerves.

It's not even that anything particularly irritating or awful has happened this week, it's just been soooooo tedious.

It's cause I need a vacation. I wish August would hurry up and get here, hehe.

You know ladies, getting black-out drunk is a great way to reduce frustration and tedium.

Side effects may include unplanned pregnancy.

I'll try that this weekend...minus the pregnancy.

Weekends don't mean quite so much when you're unemployed...just means you get to hang out with your working friends.

This week can't end soon enough. With the way my week is going and how the last weekend was, I'm ready to just get in my car and drive to Chicago and for you all to come in August.

Nope. I made a pre-emptive strike last night and guzzled down a few glasses of water before bed. I'm feeling bright eyed and bushy tailed!

I'm ready for some tedium. I'll be at my mom's this weekend for dress fittings, and I am SO ready to lay on her couch and have her cook for me. Work has been insane, my staff are a bunch of whiny girls, and my leisure activities have been providing me more stress than release.

I need to go buy a bustier today, and usually shopping makes me happy but today I'm not in the mood for it at all. Maybe I'll go to the gym.

This is actually shaping up to be a good week for me. Wedding plans are coming together, I got my unemployment pay straightened out and I'm playing my first round of golf tomorrow.

Speaking of which, Flea'Jo, when is your big day? I haven't been paying that much attention. Smiley: blush

Boyfriend and I may go see that as well...or maybe 28 weeks later (similar, haha).

I know, right? All the insanity aside, I'm ludicrously happy about it. Sometimes I'm pissed at the money, the planning, the ridiculous traditions and hoops we both have to jump through, but then I remember what I get at the end of it and it just feels bone-deep right.

I need to figure out what I'm doing with my hair.
