For those of you ladies who went into labor of your own volition (i.e. weren't induced) do you recall whether or not your sleep improved in the days preceding labor?
It's been several months since I've gotten more than an hour of sleep at a stretch before I have to get up and go to the bathroom. This weekend, however, I noticed several times when I slept for 90+ minutes at a stretch, and last night, I got at least 2+ hour stretches of sleep.
I'm not complaining--damn, it feels good to get some longer stretches of sleep. But I can't shake the notion that this sudden change--especially in a time when the baby should be putting MORE pressure on my bladder, not less--is somehow significant. So I'm polling all the moms I know to try to see who has had this sort of experience and if it correlates with pre-labor.
