If you don't want to play . . . GFY.

If you do, the rules are:

1. Ask questions but I will only answer 'yes' or 'no', so phrase your question accordingly.
2. You'll have to be quick because I'll be sub-default soon and I'm not prepared to turn off the filter

So.

I met a famous person today in London.

Clues:

a) Not British
b) An major icon of the '70s on both sides of the atlantic
c) I met the person in the West End of London (The UK equiuvalent of Broadway)
