Nexa, can you PM the deets?

Puh-leeease?

I'd be happy to, but it would be easier if you requested the password to Flea's journal from her, since that's where all the "deets" are, haha.

Does Vegas have a cheaper "off-season"? I can't get out that way anytime soon, but boyfriend and I want to go sometime and it would be more fun to meet up with some folks than to just go ourselves since I don't gamble so much.

Only if the two of you go through next!

Sure, and since it's not legal, we can just say "What goes on in Vegas, stays in Vegas." Smiley: lol

Personally, I have no idea. However, one of my best friends lives out there, as does some family, so I can always ask them the next time I talk to them.

Plus, it's Vegas. I don't think there's any downtime.

Plane tickets and hotel reservations are taken care of for both myself and Sickabilly. Even if none of ya show up, we'll be there with bells on.

I don't either, and I had the BEST of times just walking around with a giant margarita wondering if I'd make it down the strip to the hotel or not before I passed out. Drinking in the open air pwns.

Oh, and if I can get into my ************* journal, I'll post a link to hotels near the one we have.

Agreed. Boyfriend will want to spend a fair amount of time doing what one typically does in Vegas if we go, where I would want to walk around and see the sights and maybe catch a couple shows and shop and whatnot. He can gamble and earn back the money for the trip, haha. So, I'd definitely want to pick a weekend that other folks could make it, hence the wanting to go at an inexpensive time of year (if there is such a thing). It seems that I'm fairly often seeing good airfare/hotel combination specials on expedia and such for Vegas anyway, so maybe it's unnecessary.

I'm not sure. For months now the computer acts like I didn't log in when I try to get into it, or my messages, and I have to trick it by going through every bastage interface, logging in twice... It might be my work's settings, but even at home I have to log into the thing multiple times and if I pick a certain topic it doesn't like, it kicks me back out.

Everyone has to log in to journals twice to actually read a post, but I guess you're extra special.

Same thing happens here. I type in the password, click on a thread, and it makes me enter the password again.

Danalog and Nizdaar already know about this, or at least I seem to remember telling them.

Yeah, once I get the LOTRO site fully fleshed out I'm hoping I get to go back and merge the journal code into the forum code, since it's rather decrepit comparatively.

What I'd really really like to do actually is do "allow" lists for journals instead of passwords.

There's actually a really good reason for this in the code. I just forget what it is at the moment. But ya, it's pretty annoying and needs to go away.

Nobody uses passwords on other board systems anymore anyway, because of security problems and retarded cookie issues like this. I hates it, my precious.

Since, if my memory serves, BT lives much closer than at the extreme opposite end of the country, I think it's a great idea too.
