What Dreams May Come is one of my husband's most favorite movies of all time. He watched it while I was taking a nap and he woke up me up just to say "I love you." Smiley: inlove

About four years ago I was on vacation with three other friends. We were turning at a stoplight and was hit by an 18 wheeler; I was the only survivor. About a year after I was asked if I cry when I hear the song, "Three Wooden Crosses." I don't listen to country so I had never heard of it. Later I went and downloaded it, cried like a baby. Here are the lyrics. Then someone else asked me if I had heard, "Who You'd Be Today" and I hadn't so I downloaded that song as well. The lyrics to that song got to me as well. One song that can get me misty-eyed not only because of it's lyrics, but the music as well is "Angels Fall First" by Nightwish.

Best "snuggle on the couch with your sweetie" movie evar.

As I am a guy, I enjoy it when a girl needs to feel comforted. I'll let you imagine why Smiley: sly

Which isn't even her original song. Look up Nine Inch Nails sometime.

Huh?

I don't think a movie or song has ever made me cry. :o I must have sealed up those emotions real well.

Too many things make me cry to list. As a general indication, I've just cried through most of this thread. I cry during tissue ads that feature ducklings, and retirement investment ads featuring old couples walking on a beach hand in hand.

Try: "Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon".

Yeah, that one got me too, when Harry came back to the maze with Diggory and the Cup. The movie now does the same thing, dammit!

Oddly enough, though, the end of Half Blood Prince doesn't get me nearly as much (except maybe for the funeral).

Thanks for reminding me, I stopped reading at that point and let loose for about 10 minutes during that part. =(

Zero-Sum by Nine Inch Nails
Hurt by Nine inch Nails
Ticks and Leeches by Tool
Kite by U2
Pennyroyal tea by Nirvana
Dumb by Nirvana

have all helped me through the hard times, and many more, but those are the ones that stand out now.

Same here, that's the only HP book I've cried while reading.

Other books that made me cry are Kite Runner and Where the Red Fern Grows.

Edit: And I just realized that you were replying to my first post in which I already said this on page 1. Go me!!

I still think it's going to turn out that Dumbledore asked Snape to kill him, because Dumbledore was dying anyway, and this will cement Voldemorte's trust and pleasure in Snape, allowing Snape to find out more about the Horcruxes.

What would be *really* weepy is if Harry kills Snape before it comes out that Snape is still "Dumbledore's man, through and through".

One song that gives me that sort of bittersweet depression is Somewhere Over The Rainbow, not the Dorothy version but the Israel Kamakawiwo'ole (Hawaiian Singer) version.

It has been used in a few films such as Meet Joe Black, Finding Forrester, 50 First Dates as well as Scrubs, a favorite TV Show of mine.

Or dumbledor isn't dead, he got hit with a suspended animation zombie spell thingie before hitting the ground, and when the funeral happened he got zapped back into the shadows, to leap out at the last moment and go "aieeee!"
