The book made me really sad for like a week, too. I don't like this thread at all.

I'm a big cry baby. We watch a lot of movies on TCM and I'm always tearing up. I love a good cry after reading a good book, as it seems to help release much of the built of emotions, that I normally wall up, due to a painful childhood.

The first time I read The Three Musketeers I must have cry for an hour, when Constance died.

I always cry now, when I hear Amazing Grace on bagpipes. I associate it, with the memorial Pub sing for the actor that had played Henry the 8th, for years at the Md Renaissance Faire. The memorial was a week before my mother, died on Sept 1, 2000. I was just trying to get back to some sense of normalcy on 9/11. For weeks they show services of the firefighters and always seems to include the bagpiper playing Amazing Grace.

Ah, the mention of bagpipes reminds me:

Braveheart

I have a really hard time watching Murron die and then at the end when Hamish and the Irishman are watching.

Have mercy.

Man, I'm so glad I don't own that damn movie...I'd watch it and cry all night.

See... the Notebook didn't get me until the end. I also got teary-eyed when Shepherd Book died in Serenity...

I have not seen The Notebook, but I do own a canoe and some ducks, and would be happy to divert my creek so that it floods a portion of my property, if you would like to make out, Nexa.

I can only think of one book that made me cry. The DragonLance book where Flint dies. Tas is just so pitiful after that happens.

Will you build me a house with a room for painting, which I will do clad exclusively in a blanket? I'll also need you to work on making it rain on command.

I have a spare room, with a picturesque view of the creek, and this is Oregon, baby, it rains basically non-stop.

Dammit, though, I'm sort of short on blankets.

Nice BT, 9/10.

You only got a 9 there for lack of originality. You can get a 10 though, I know you can.

Back on topic, I've been through enough **** at this point in my life now that I'm pretty emotionless. However, ever Sunday night I get down knowing that I have to go back to work leaving the fandamily at home. If that counts great if not, GFY.

There's no real point to this necro other than to state that I just cried straight through the last hour of Losing Isaiah. I think that should be enough crying to last me a while and I don't need to watch that movie again for the rest of my life.

That is all.

"John Q" gets to me in one part. This is the only one to ever actually put a tear rolling down my face.

The bathroom scene in "The Pursuit of Happiness". Got me sniffly.

...and some of the Rocky movies. I have no idea why these get to me.
