It's been a while since I posted a bunch of links... Hope someone finds use for them.

Also, please share your favorite bookmarks and such. Anything you think is cool.
I know at least some of you know how to use google, so make with the links. :P

Note: Always use discretion when downloading. Though it is not hard to avoid getting infected.

Torrents:

Tracker (Use this to search for torrents.)

Client (Use this to download torrents.)

Now test it out and download some Spineshank, or maybe some games.

Freeware:

NoNags

Themes and Wallpapers:

Themeworld (Just don't go for the screensavers.)

Wallpaper Collection (I even uploaded a few new ones.)

Space Wallpapers

Educational:

MIT OpenCourseWare

HTML Tutorials

Gyre (Collection of Military Science news articles.)

Discover

Music:

Pandora Radio (You name an Artist or Song, and it plays something that sounds similar. Nifty when searching for new music.)

Games:

Gamefaqs

Abandonware (Free oldschool games, DOS and such. Try "Master of Orion" or "X-Com". :P )

FireFox Extensions:

-Mouse Gestures
-Adblock Plus
-Scrapbook
-MediaPirate

Misc:

Talk like a Pirate!

Well, thats all I can think of offhand... I don't bookmark stuff that often, so this was mostly off the top of my head.

So, anyone else feel like posting some random goodies?

Instead of vNes, you could try the online site: www.everyvideogame.com for all of your NES favs. Only games of note that I can't find are Startropics, and the Zeldas. Oh, and Dragon Warrior as well as Excitebike are missing too.

Wow, so I was expecting some lame replies but damn... lol. Well at least we got some nes goin' on in here.

And I even got rated down. XD

Oh well, if I wanted to be a karma ***** I would post a bunch of sarcastic / rude / typical bullshit like all the trendy goons do. I'm more about good times and content myself.

Btw... Apparently I need to clarify the point of the thread. I have no problem finding what I am searching for on "teh internet". I wanted to broaden my horizons, and see what other people waste their time on.

With that said, time to reload this thread.

I too, use to frequent sites that offered free roms and such. Then I found out about something, and it is far better. Now all that stuff is rendered useless.

First of all, you will need:
1. Pretty much every old game ever made, minus the ones you don't like.
2. An original X-box. You will be voiding the label so you might as well get a used one.
3. A Mod Chip. I recommend one of the Xecuter ones.
4. a soldering iron and a steady hand.

There you go, now you will have an X-box, with a cool new GUI and enhanced capabilities. You can do stuff like play or rip burned CD's, or even put emulators and roms on it. Even better is that 2-4 player works just fine!

I have all the snes rpg's, and 960 nes games on mine, along with Halo 2, the hdd is full. But you could just get a pad and play them on your pc too.

Have you seen those .rar archives floating amidst the torrents? Get em'.

Also, I was actually thinking of trying secret of mana... It's on there, just have never played it. lol

Anyway, just throwing that out there in case you didn't know. Those online games are good but I detest gaming on a keyboard. :P

Well, sorry for another long post, I'm bored, sick, and I felt like typing. That never bodes well for you guys. XD
