ok the recipe epic win. just more proof that beer makes meat taste better

wow. what a waste.

little bit of ground pepper, just a dash of liquid smoke, some hickroy chips wrapped in foil tossed in the charcoal, sear it on the outside, leave it pink in the middle, all you need. a decent rib eye doesnt need marinade of any type, unles you just dont like the taste of steak to begine with. marinades are for lesser quality meats, like hamburger, or a flank steak.

never understood the whole concept of "steak sauce" either. mabe some people just feel the need to do something or they dont feel like their cooking. steak doesnt need flavoring if its a decent cut.

just my openion.

Without even having to read the OP, the title was enough to provide me with sufficient detail to supply my response.

Dumbass . . .

And for the record, I'm pretty sure I hate everyone in this thread. Just sayin'.

Well in my opinion, it was not a waste. If the steak had been like a $40 one then I would have not had a sauce on it or a marinade. Marinating a ribeye does not make you a noob. I just prefer something that enhances the taste of my meat, and does not cover it.

As for Jacob, anyone who has character levels listed that are above cap for said MMO is automatically a ******. Stop breathing our valuable air and drop dead already.

His sig qualifies as sarcasm, dumbass.

Maybe not good sarcasm, but it's sarcasm.

Wow, sarcasm.. REALLY?! I couldn't tell numbnuts. I'll stick with it being a case of retardation. Something you apparently suffer from as well.

If your going to act like your quoting someone, you should at least word it correctly.

I did not misquote a single word you wrote.

I may have omitted some of the words you wrote, but that's another matter entirely.

Therefore, my quote was an accurate, if abridged, version of what you said.

No you took my quotes and then added in your own wording in an attempt to insult me. All those times you quoted me, they were infact your words. If you want to quote yourself, then put your name on it. I didn't type the things you have depicted me as typing.

Looks bloody tasty.

If I want a good steak, I'll usually just season it and flash-fry it with no frills.

But if I do want something with a bit more exotic flavoUr, I won't reduce the quality of the meat I use. Sure, a ribeye doesn't need a marinade, but straight or fancy, it has to be good steak.

(And a bit of demerara sugar in a marinade like that is ace for barbequeing pork or chicken)

I never would have thought there was a market for this, but sadly for my pocketbook, I'm constantly underestimating people's stupidity.
