There's where you're wrong. Oh, sure God may hate Asian pitchers, but I do not overestimate my importance in the universal balance of baseball.
For instance, I attended both David Cone's and David Wells' perfect games. In both cases, my brother had to give up his season ticket seats because on each of those days, one of his wife's sister's spawn was being christened or having its first holy communion or some such crap, and I went in his stead. In both instances, those were the only Yankee games I went to that entire season. My brother had no such function to attend today, did not have to give up his seat, therefor I did not go, and thus the perfect game was lost.
Beyond that, I have never attended a Yankee game at Yankee stadium that the Yankees lost. I have attended Yankees games at Shea Stadium (when Yankee stadium was being refurbished back in the mid-70s), that they lost, but never at Yankee stadium.
I've tried to relay this information to Yankees management, but after the first few tries, the restraining order kind of interfered. But if they gave me season tickets of my own, or maybe a luxury box, I'm pretty sure they could win a lot more games.
