I'm looking for a pic of her in Wayne's World 2, but I can't seem to find it. In either case, rawr!

Would you feel better with Morena Baccarin > Kirsten Dunst?

I've said it before and I'll say it again: Kirsten Dunst is not attractive.

Well, WW2 was, like, fifty years ago. She looked decent in Playboy back in the mid-90s as well but that was then.

No arguments there.

Kirsten Dunst annoys me in that role because she plays it all weepy, whiny, girly girl. Whereas the Mary Jane in the comics and the TV cartoon was more independent and had attitude.

lol, Topher Grace? What character does he play?

idk, I might have a hard time not thinking about That 70's Show anytime he appears in the movie.

Topher plays Venom, a sort of evil Spidey in the form of a rage symbiote that possesses a rival journalist and the cause of Black Spidey.

I will of course be seeing this, because as I've said before, my cousin has some sort of bit role in it, and I've enjoyed the first two.

I'd hit it.

As for Spiderman 3, I'm pumped. I was a big-time Spiderman comic reader when I was a kid, and couldn't be happier with the first 2. When there was still speculation on who would be the villain in this one, I'd said that I hoped it would be one of the old-school villains rather than Venom. The fact that the Sandman is in it balances it out for me. Although I'm leary about them having 3 villains in this one, one of the problems with the old Batman movies was they got carried away throwing so many characters in them. Hopefully they didn't go overboard with this one in detriment to the story.

But, as usual, I'll probably wait till mid week sometime to see it, when the theatres aren't absolutely slammed.

Alright, Spider 3 seems more like a DVD to me. I'm looking forward more to the sequel to Batman Begins.

Also, Sandra Bullock

Thought I posted in this thread already. There is a plan for some of us at work, who happen to be huge superhero fans, to see this movie right after work. I've been on vacation this weekend, so I don't know how well that plan is panning out yet.

I simply can not see that.

Did he put on like 30 lbs. of muscle?

I suspect I'll do the same thing I did with Spiderman 2. I will say I need to go see it until it's out of theaters and then I'll finally see it when Spiderman 4 comes out and FX is showing it 5 times a day.

Probably. It's rather customary for actors to re-sculpt their bodies for a particular role; 15-20lbs of muscle is pretty easy to accomplish in a few months' time with Hollywood trainers. Toby himself isn't exactly beefcake either. Hell, Thomas Haden Church, who is a decent sized guy normally, built himself up that much for Sandman.

Yeah, but Spiderman was always a more average athletic physique... not too big of a stretch for anyone with a normal body type and not too much of a ******.

As I recall Venom he was significantly more muscular than Spiderman, and as I recall Topher Grace, well, he's a twig. It wouldn't surprise me overly if he went from Eric Foreman physique to Spiderman physique, but Venom is a stretch.

And physique aside, unless he's really just that damn good of an actor, I'm going to have a hard time not imagining him being defeated by having large, busty redhead sitting on him.

Headshot of Topher Grace as Venom.

He doesn't look too much like scrawney **** Eric Foremen in that photo. I'd imagine he spent hours in the makeup chair and then they put the movie magic on ole' Topher in the editing room.

Couldn't find any shots of him as Brock. I hope he doesn't Bruce Banner (go from scrawney Eric Foremen to Incredible Hulking Venom).

I saw a recent interview where he claimed to have worked out daily and put on 20lbs of muscle for the role. He probably promptly lost it again as soon as filming was done, but who knows.

I saw Spiderman I and was bored to tears.

I didn't see Spiderman II.

But the trailers of the third one really make me wanna go and see it. As a kid, I always loved Spiderman, especially when he had the black spider costume (I don't remember the technical term for that black sipder costume, and it was in French anyway, but still, apologies). I even had the toys, and the black sipderman always won.

I don't recall how but somehow I ended up getting a bunch of old comics. Maybe they were my dad's or my uncle's, I don't know, but the few I got all at once inspired me to (this was a really long time ago) get brown paper grocery bags, and cut arm/head holes in them and draw on them to make superhero costumes of Wolverine and Nightcrawler.

Edit: No, this wasn't really on topic. I got nostalgic, ok?
