their shanty town burned down, then the city moved in and arrested anyone who wouldnt leave afterwards.

some activists set up a cardboard and plywood shanty down on an abandoned lot in, not one of, but the poorest neibhorhood in miami. 40 to 50 homeless people set up camp there as a protest to get the city moving on affordable housing and the plight of the homeless.
