See what we really SHOULD be doing is making people who fly look at pictures of plane crashes. Plaster em all over the airport and show a video of the events on 9/11 on the seatback TVs before take-off.

this is exactly like the dems, which is why, no matter who wins, we loose.

the big differance is, the dems will keep vitale services in the government, like healthcare, air traffic, social security, where the reckless republicans will toss EVERYTHING into the wind to get as much of the pie as possible, country be damned.

some day, you repubs will figure that out when you stop swolling the "trickle down effect" sound bite BS and open your eyes to what is really going on. the repubs dont give a crap about abortion, gay rights, immigration or sex education anymore than the dems do. just a platform to suck in as many fools as possible at election time. all they care about is big bussiness and how to suck as many tax dollars out of the government to feed big bussiness as possible.

the dems for example, gave a dem contractor a contract for "data link". a system that allows us to text message aircraft and give automated frequencie changes. they gave the contract to their buds, but it was actually something we needed.

the repubs shelved the contract the day blakely was appointed, and gave their buds the money for that contract to give us a rushed and incomplete electronic flight data base with type too small to read that does nothing for us we couldnt already do.

they both give contracts to their buds, but the dems will put safety and the good of the people first. the repubs know no boundries and will sell everything for a profit no matter who it kills.

health care? sold to HMOs who are already under fire for actually letting people die to keep from providing expensive care.

social security? wants to sell it to stock borkers, adn if you loose? their bad, have a good life in the bread line.

how about a 14 BILLION dollar tax cut for oil companies in the midst of the most profitable 4 years of their entire existance?

EVERYTHING.

thats the differance between them. they are both bad, but the repubs are blatently immoral and unconsionable.

there are alot of week end warrior idiots flying. we lost two small planes last week. but the biggest differance is, they will most likely only kill themselves and mabe a couple people on the ground. when one of these idiots they are rushing through the system screws up, he is going to kill a few hundred people at once. i deal with them all day long in the bahamas, hopping form island to island and going in and out of mia and fll. for the most part, they do a good job, but it only takes a hand full of idiots out of a hundred to really ***** up your day.

flying should be left to professionals. so should air traffic controll.

but that is a huge chunk of money the repubs are drooling over finding a way to channel it to one of their benifactors. lockheed martin is already handeling our performance appraisials, as if some idiot they hire for 10 bucks an hour could possibly understand what we are doing when they hear us on tape. our pay system has been farmed out to another insider company. now instead of paying a t&a clerk in each facility, we pay a few hundred thousand dollars to a contractor to do it by computer....but get this....we still have to solve all teh discrepancies. how sweet of a deal is that for them?

the dems channel the money to theirs, just like the repubs, but the dems will not sacrifice safety. the repubs will sell anything. no limits. even homeland security. the inspectors at airports are a private contractor. how stupid is that?
