but holy hell, was it worth it. Today topped at 85, slight breeze, and the sun was shining! I just came in from spending all day outdoors, only to stop at a store and buy some lawn chairs and an umbrella for the little guy. I got in 2 hours of yard work, then had all the neighborhood kids and some moms wander over to enjoy my little oasis of comfort. Some of the kids are still outside where I can keep an eye on them. And Im planning on a walk after a lamb chop dinner with the fam around the cul de sac and enjoy a glass of cab after. Truly, life couldnt be much better than this!

It's about damn time!

And all I get to do tonight is catch up on all my reading and studying that I've been lagging on. Smiley: cry

I walked 8 miles yesterday with my FMIL, and I got, as Joph said, "Browner than usual."

I was happy the AC fired up on the first try. Also considered painting the windows black.

We went for a 10 mile hike yesterday that left me red as a lobster. Thank goodness it'll turn to brown eventually. My feet are so sore. We hiked Mulberry Creek, mosquitos were out in force!

We went hiking with the whole family for the first time this year yesterday. Only a mile+ but I had an infant strapped to me and my husband's idea of working out consists of clicking the mouse for hours on end. I had to start him off slow =)
He enjoyed it so much though, that if the weather is nice we're walking after dinner every night with the fam, and hiking together every weekend. Plus once the ground dries up a little more, I plan on hauling the kids out with me a couple times a week to our normal hiking spots. I'm just in heaven knowing that I can finally do this!

Well if you're lucky, a tomato sauce truck and a train carrying pizza dough will collide under the skyway and you'll get a double bonus from the weather.

It was kind of gritty after they scraped it up, but still mozzalicious!

The mosquitoes and blackflies aren't out here yet. Absolutely gorgeous weekend. Spent it climbing on Saturday with a mutual friend of my g/f's and then Sunday hiking. Absolutely perfect weather.

Must be some sekrit husband workout as mine thinks the same thing. I have a picture of him sleeping with one of my dumbbells in his hand. I put it there of course, but I leave that detail out when I show his family. Smiley: lol

It was so hot out today my car overheated and started smoking. In the middle of a town-wide rush-hour traffic jam. 2 blocks away from home.
