Lesson 1.:NWS

He needs to talk like this, when he narrates the "Thomas the Tank-Engine" series that my kids watch non-stop.

"Listen up you little worthless fucks, we're going on fuckin pretend journey to a shitty magical place called Sodor. If anybody talks I'm goin to slap' em. Got It?"

After working in family law for a number of years, that message is just the tip of the iceberg for some of the things I've listened to.

Yeah, there was one case where the mother went completely psycho and the dad took their kids and filed for divorce. She basically imploded mentally and wrote like a 40 page letter of how she was going to kill him and their kids and she described all the "grievances" she had against her family, justifying why she was going to kill them.

And another case where the father was molesting his 14 year old daughter and he left a a dirty voicemail on her cell phone. Transcribing THAT just about made me throw up.

Doesn't Ringo Starr narrate the US version?

When the Noblet was ickle I was sick of the endless nasal whine of Ringo's narration echoing from the Tv as he did that play/rewind/play/rewind/play/rewind/ thing that kids and gbaji do

He did so for awhile, I think.

I remember watching that show a few times back in Elementary School as Shining Time Station when it came to America.

Not sure, but I do know George Carlin also narrates the series, which I find quite amusing. I keep waiting for the fuck word to slip into the narration, and I have the mental image of him, doing copious amounts of cocaine while reading the voice over.

/George Carlin Voice

"And then Thomas told Percy to go "Fuck himself, and get his own god-damn boxcar full of marijuana from Sodor station!" He wasn't going to share any his with Percy, or that no good ****-sucker Harold the Helicopter"

THIS is why I chuckle when I hear George Carlin narrate. I keep waiting for the same thing.
