I've been gone for a while again, I know. My apologies, not that any of you really noticed my absence I'm certain. Anyway, Mrs. Totem & I just got back from a week long mini-vacation in Las Vegas where we partied like it was, ahh, err, 2007.

We didn't spend a red cent gambling, but burnt our kid"s inheritance purchasing booze, cigars, sunglasses, clothes, Louis Vitton handbags, shoes, and spas. Ok, so the only thing I got was the booze and cigars, but the Mizzez sure enjoyed all those other things.

We stayed at the Luxor, but next time we'll either go to the Bellagio or New York New York. The dueling piano bar at New York destroys.

Incidentally, we hung out with Tommy Lee at the hotel's pool. And no, we didn't make a **** film with him either. Pretty cool dude actually.

Glad you guys had fun. I prefer staying at the Venetian just because it's so pretty to me. Bellagio is gorgeous too.

You didn't make it out to the Mustang Ranch or take the Missus to the Bunny Ranch?

The misus and I are headed to Vegas in June for her 30th. We like to stay at the Flamingo because our favorite club, "Drias" is right next door at the "Barbary Coast". Leaving on a Friday and coming back on a Sunday. Any more then that it gets insane....

I love Vegas. And I so have to follow the old adage of "What goes on in Vegas, stays in Vegas." I am such a naughty person in Vegas.

Aadyn, when you go to Vegas with the missus, take her to see the show Zumanity.

I would *love* to go see that...or any Cirque show actually. I one in Florida and I've been hooked ever since.

I think if Joph took me to Cirque du Soleil I'd divorce him, but hey, different strokes. I agree that the Venetian is by far the prettiest, but the Bellagio was the most fun to walk around. When Joph and I were there, we stayed at the Mandalay Bay.

Mandalay Bay is nice.

Zumanity is the naughty side of Cirque du Soleil. It's not kid show that's for sure.

Luxor's kind of a dive these days. On the other hand, giant beam of light makes it easy to find after 19 Zombies, and convenient tunnel to Excalibur makes picking up Guinevere costumed cocktail waitress clean and easy.

Poker room blows at Luxor, Excalibur's is small but funny to play in. Very low stakes, and they spin a big wheel when you win certain hands. I got the worlds cheapest baseball cat there when I hit a straight flush. The dealer woman yelled "STRAIGHT FULSH!" and I was excited for a bout 10 seconds before a white trucker hat, with the mesh and everything, was presented to me with "Excalibur" stenciled on the front in black. I pooed in it later. True story.

I like the rooms at Bellagio, and it has the best poker room, although I haven't been out since steve wynn built his latest small cocked ego trip so that might be the place to stay these days.

I can't even guess at what the going rate is for a baseball cat, but I *really* want one. Is it a Redsox fan?

Oh well nevermind then. I am required to be a Redsox fan if I value my life.
