Cuando yo me muera
enterradme con mi guitarra
bajo la arena.

Cuando yo me muera,
entre los naranjos
y la hierbabuena.

Cuando yo me muera,
enterradme, si queréis,
en una veleta.

¡Cuando yo me muera!

You don't know that. You don't know that, because you don't know what battle, what war, he was fighting. And you don't know THAT because he was delusional, and you're not privy to the scattered and nonsequential thought processes going on in his head.

As far as we know, he died a hero in his own eyes. Well, eye.

All humans seek happiness and the longevity needed to continue being happy. That is human nature, so yeah, in as much as I know anything, I know what his war was. To commit suicide is to surrender the war and accept defeat. Whether or not he achieved short term objectives which did not contribute to his primary purpose is irrelevant to his success.

I wonder if the 32 victims had any dreams or ambitions they would have wanted to share with the world.

Well, if you're a "Glass Half Full" sorta person, any of them who yearned to die at the hands of a psychotic immigrant in a hail of bullets fulfilled their destiny.

Silver Linings and Clouds are my specialty Smiley: grin

Maxine Turner, 22, from Vienna, Virginia, was a senior studying chemical engineering and was expecting to graduate in May.

Maxine had recently helped to found a chapter of Alpha Omega Epsilon, a sorority for women in engineering. She had also accepted a chemical engineering job in Maryland.

She was described in a web tribute as "an absolutely amazing, intelligent woman".

Daniel O'Neil, 22, of Rhode Island, was a graduate student in engineering who also played guitar and wrote his own songs, which he posted on a website, www.residenthippy.com.

Friend Steve Craveiro said: "He would come home from school over the summer and talk about projects, about building bridges and stuff like that.

"He was pretty much destined to be extremely successful."

You'd think NBC would jump at the rights for a made-for-tv movie on him.

(Well, it's nice to dream)

Bullying? This says more about these people than the HS yearbook drivel you've cited.

Read the freakin sentence!

Aww, did my strolling by upset Nobby's room in cyberspace a little? Got an issue? Here's a tissue. Hey, can Nobby's extra account "Elinda" rate me up some too? Smiley: schooled

Got an issue here's a tissue? Stunning.

Look kiddo, you'll find that not everyone needs to rehash what a tragedy is in order to recognize it, and most well-adjusted folks aren't going to dwell upon it, either. It's abundantly clear to everyone that these young people were cut down far before their time, and that this is a tragic thing, almost as tragic as your continued insistance on breathing my air. You don't represent them, you don't represent some righteous beacon in the absence of civility, you don't represent Shit beyond pretentious teen faux-enlightment and delusion.

Perhaps when you're a bit older, your soul calloused from soaking in the unfair reality that is life's total lack of fair-play, and have fully grasped that your prayers and mourning amount to fUck all, you'll get it, but with any luck you'll realize your destiny as a soft place for a bullet to land long before that can happen.

Now go cut yourself some more, you little snowflake.

I bet you're just dying to see what I have to say in response. You look like you wasted spent a good 30 minutes of your life on it. I'll read it later Smiley: schooled

Doubt it took him more than five to type it out, and nothing at all to compose it.

BT's a stream-of-consciousness kinda guy.

He's also right.

Nah, I pretty much expected feigned apathy due to your inability to respond. It's pretty common.

If the ego gets any thicker in here I think I might suffocate.

Of course, I don't want that fact to encourage you to keep it up, so forget I said anything.
