What about the millions of welfare babies that turn to crime instead? Which we all know is much more common than the welfare baby that actually completes college.

Cite? If all we're going on is ancedotal evidence of this, I'm guessing I have more than you, seeing as I've worked in education for most of my life.

Possibly if it wasn't the top 20% of the population hording all the cash it would be a little different? And it's not like a capitalist CEO never committed a crime, no that has never happened. Capitalism isn't bad, just the kind of capitalism we have.

Yep it's the poor's fault for being poor. we are talking about welfare babies right? Do you think before you speak?

We're not a nation of individuals, as much as that ideal is pushed in this country. We are all dependant upon one another for a variety of reasons and it is our moral obligation to take care of one another.

I'm pretty sure Jesus told me that.

LOL now I know why you're f*cked up. I don't need to cite the obvious; are you seriously claiming that more welfare babies graduate college than turn to crime? You know that's absurd.

Varus

Actually, you do need a cite. It isn't obvious at all, to those of us who have seen the welfare-to-college thing happen.

Are you just pulling this out of your ***? I have no idea if it's true or absurd. You could be completely correct, but in my experience, 100% of the welfare babies I have known have gone to college, hahahaha.

Actually most people believe that a child is not responsible for his or her actions. You don't seem to be very well education on the subject of social class dynamics either.

Which proves you have no idea what's going on in the hood.

And this statement proves that you think the 'hood is the whole story.

Actually I agree with this. But their parents should be held responsible for having children. Joe taxpayer should not be penalized because some poor uneducated ***** spread her legs. Were it up to me I would have the state fix any b*tch that had to go on welfare because they can't support their children.

Totally. Children are entirely the responsibility of women, the whores.

What pro-life people need to understand is that under no circumstances will this country make illegal that which 80% of the nation feels under certain circumstances is justifiable. We will do more to stop abortion by raising the minimum wage, helping to make sure that low income Americans have access to quality health care, and by providing real working sex education.

Yar.

Particularly when I included the quote to which I was replying.

He's just thick as mud, no blame to him.

Lefty,

I know this may difficult for you to understand but when a person becomes a ward of the state they are no longer free to make decisions for themselves and it's the responsibility of the govn to see that they don't hurt society.

There's certainly no Constitutional justification for this sentiment.

Again, not much of a conservative, are you?
