Good lord, that first dress would swallow up anyone who isn't 9 feet tall.

I like Nexa's pick, though, especially for a warm-weather wedding.

If I could be ****** I'd recommend a dress for Katie and wittily link to a photograph of a tent.

Use your imagination.

I'm not 9 feet tall, but my dress is more like the first than any other. Then again, I've always wanted to look like this for my wedding (minus baby, of course).

I'd imagine it'd be something like this.

I honestly can't make sense of that picture, and I don't want to. I need to find a way to forget of its existance now.

I actually didn't like any of the Disney wedding dresses and I've bought quite a few just because. I have quite a collection going.

Mine came from Pronovias, a yummy Spanish designer that I've always wanted to buy from.

What I want to know is.. What's wrong with what Nobby's avatar is wearing? Sometimes, there is beauty in simplicity...

Unless you're the chick with the elephant dong in Katies picture, in which case, you should be shot on sight.

My wife wanted to have tea parties for all her married girlfriends where they would get some re-use out of their wedding dresses. You spend enough on the darn things. And they all look about the same to me. I have virtually no recollection of the dress itself (white, long trail). I could tell you roughly who came, who didn't. My wife's hair, make-up, flowers, etc, I recall all that.

Do any of you get any further use out of your wedding dress?

nope. Mine is still hanging in the closet, waiting for me to use it one day as a halloween costume. Or I'll pass it on to one of my sons if they ever turn fruity.

Whenever I'm bored or feeling sad, I will put on one of my wedding gowns and watch Friends on DVD. Seriously.

ISTR that on our 15th Wedding Anniversary, the former Mrs Nobby commented that the last time I'd taken her out for a meal, she was wearing a white silk dress like that.

Wimminz! Smiley: oyvey

I know I'll wear mine at least twice, since when I go to Peru we'll probably have some sort of party to celebrate the marriage, but I figure after that it'll be stored for any future Flealitas or my neice, should she want it.
