I have a 3.73GHz processor, 2 Gig of RAM and an ATI Radeon X850XT 256 MB Platinum Edition video card. My system is basically middling to low level at this point in terms of power (yours being only a little bit higher in combined processor power than mine). I highly recommend throwing another gig of RAM in for any game out today. I hope picking up a new video card at some point will allow me to raise my graphics quality and still retain decent performance.
They are working to reduce the resource-hogging to run this game - in today's
patch, they mention that:

It really is a beautiful game. I spent a couple of hours just roaming about the Dwarven city. It's huge and has all kinds of Dwarven awesomeness in it (i.e., tavern, holy temple, housing areas, king's audience room, an amazing fighting arena, etc.) It's truly a Dwarven wet dream. I know, that's a creepy visual on so many levels, but there ya go.
