Never used Sat-Nav but since the new motor will have it installed, I've been asking friends for tips and warnings.

The usual stories of being sent down long-since closed lanes or across streams that are only Fordable in summer etc.

But the best was a friend who has a 'custom voice' option.

We went for a short spin with it set to 'Ozzy' Smiley: grin

The UK ones have a tendancy to tell you to drive off a cliff or into a river

I have one, and was rather disturbed to find it can tell me where the nearest Subway's is (sandwich store), but no idea on the nearest hospitals.

I don't use mine as much as I thought I would, but it beats the hell out of a map in a new town. Best part of it is that it shows the road I'm currently on, being that I spend allot of time lost and all.
