Not that anyone cares, but I'm super excited that I get to see them play in a few short weeks. This may be amplified by the fact that the last concert I saw was Willie Nelson....when I was eight....with my dad.

Kelvy, you should come too!

I wish.

I just hope they'll finally answer the age old question: Where *do* they make balloons?

I was humming "Whistling in the Dark" today at work. Strange. Enjoy. They're all right live, but you lose some of the nasalness in the tones.

The only thing that really matters to me is: Are they any better than Willie Nelson?

Pff, they're fantastic live.

They're no Cementerio Club, but what can you do.

They've gotten into making kid songs, and while a little abstract, not too shabby. My fave is still the classic "Istanbul was once Constantinople"

I was sober, and I saw them in a Paramount-style park. The most fun was singing along with everyone else, but they're not guitar gods or anything. Not like American Troubadour Tom Petty.

You tend to chime in (so to speak) with these "Music? wut's that?" kinds of comments.

If you don't like rock and roll, that's okay. But there's no need to keep mentioning it.

I don't have a television. I don't feel the need to say that more than three times a year, though. I certainly don't feel like I have to post in Pikko's threads about particular TV shows just to say I have no idea what she's talking about.

I feel the same about your posts.

Wait. . .

We generally don't stroke our "fangs" here in the US but tea doesn't sell as well here either so I guess it all evens out.

Your point about the "I feel the need to interrupt by saying I have nothing to add" posts was well-made.

However, this is the asylum, and there are childish points to be scored.

And under the rules of "We", I therefore declare myself the winner.

I shall now be magnanimous in praising your acknowledgement that I am better than you (and not merely because I have an ***** and you are merely an Gurl)

I didn't know what TMBG stood for either until DSD posted the Istanbul song title. Then I was like, "Oh, that group my hubby raves about every 6 months or so." My town was too tiny to receive word of these cool college groups. +_+
