Inquiring Mind Wanted To KnowFollow

#1 Apr 03 2007 at 10:55 PM Rating: Good
So, I was minding my own business this morning, tooling around the interwebs looking for the good **** (free), when I get a notice that someone had stalked me to MySpace and left a little note. I won't mention the offender, but she knows who she is.

"Come post, we lub you, make us laugh again big bear."

Since she is easily one of the 4 or 5 hottest chicks I know from the internet and will never bang, I figured I would give it a shot. Who knows, maybe it will help cement the possibility that she'd consider allowing herself to contemplate the chance of musing over a fantestical adventure with me in a dark corner of dive bar in the dodgy end of an unlikely improbability?

I started reading over some of the threads from the top page. Nothing terribly unusual here. Nothing to spark an interest. Something on a bracket for a tournament crowning the champion of the amateur ranks of a sport I haven't seen in a decade, prattling on about right vs. left (and not in a cool "which one do you ********** with?" way, but a dull political way), and yet another call to resurrect a MMO guild from the original OOT.

You can certainly see that my interest must have been piqued almost immediately. How could I stay away for so long? How could I get by for more than a day or two at a time without the grist for life's mill that is the discourse here?

Smiley: rolleyes

But then I read over a thread that cemented for me that there really may be nothing left to this grand experiment. Something that shook my faith in the management of this fair site to the core. I saw something that almost made me fore go this post. Something so terrible and unthinkable that it's occurrence can really only mean one thing: the apocalypse is upon us.

Hahhahaha! Three days later and I get one last April Fool's Day victim. And to top it off, it's Moe! Smiley: lol

To answer though, for April Fool's we did a bunch of forum jokes including Darq and Kao switching avatars and sigs and me taking Hellboy's name, sig, and avatar to scare people into thinking we'd hired him. The ratings got changed to WTF, Suck, Whatever, and WOOT. Everyone had Admin buttons that didn't work, post counts were in hex, and everyone could see randomly generated IP addresses.

Does this mean you'll be coming to Chicago, hahahaha?

Oh come on, it'll be fun! You know you want to!

With flattery like that young man, banging me is not entirely out of the realm of possibility!

I knew there would be at least one comment from a FFXI player. Go Go White Mage Power!

I debated small text wagering which one of you retards would try and point out the super cool April Fools joke to me, but decided against it as a) small is not small enough and b) there were so many potential winners there that picking one would be giving too much credit to the rest.

EDIT: because the baby Bob hates double posts...

He totally ripped the idea from me. I originally had the penguin head on the baby.
